This is the first in a series of interactive online talks where we will be exploring a range of issues affecting the River Culm. The talks are part presentation-part workshop and are designed to stimulate discussion and work towards building a community of people who want to help make the Culm a better place.
This introductory session will set the scene and introduce the team working on the project. We’ll share the online tools, data and other information that we’ve gathered so far and explore how we think the project is going to develop over the next 2 years.
Future sessions will be held monthly and will each feature a specialist speaker on a topic of interest. Examples include how climate change will affect the Culm; the role of beavers; how farming can help prevent flooding; and why we need the native crayfish of the Culm.
