May and June were busy months, we’ve been continuing to co-create a Vision & initiate an action plan with amazing people! Three fantastic catchment visualisation workshops took everyone time travelling to the future to imagine how the catchment and river might look if we all take action for resilience & sustainability. The ‘what ifs’ shared at the workshops led to a draft ‘vision’ for the catchment, which was shared and voted on at the June Blueprint Forum. We experimented with voting with thumbs and various other interactive exploits to try to keep the online presence as fresh as possible!

As well as the comments and suggestions gathered at the June Forum, our surveys are now open – one specifically on the draft vision and one ‘taking stock’ of what we’ve done so far – they shouldn’t take more than 5 mins each to complete. So if you couldn’t make it to the workshops or Forum – please have your say by completing a questionnaire – these will be open across the summer to maximise people’s opportunities to input; it’s been a tough 18 months and we know people are looking forward to a break! We’ll be out and about as much as we can be at shows, events and other markets – COVID allowing! Then we’ll gather everything together ahead of the November Forum to embark on the next action planning phase.
